CBSE will issue the JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria to put a condition for the applying candidates. Every candidate must satisfy the terms and conditions mentioned in the eligibility criteria to become eligible for the exam and application process. The following article explain all the conditions as per the eligibility criteria:
JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria
Date of Birth:
- As per criteria, candidate must be born on or after the First Week of October of 1990.
- There is a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (Pwd), ST and SC categories.
Subject Combination:
- Candidates must have passed qualifying exam including the last two years of schooling with the subjects of Physics and Math (Compulsory) and any ONE of Chemistry, Bio – Technology, Biology and Computer Science as optional.
- Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate in the class XII exam as per JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria.
Year of Passing the Qualifying Exam (QE):
- Year of passing of qualifying exam for candidates must be 2014 or 2013.
- As per JEE Main 2015 Eligibility Criteria, those candidates who are appearing for exam in 2015 are eligible as well if they provide the result of their exam at the time of admission.
- Candidate must pass the QE with at least 5 subjects.
Number of Attempts:
A candidate is allowed maximum 3 consecutive attempts in the exam as per JEE Main 2015 Eligibility.Before filling the application form, candidates are suggested to give the eligibility criteria a thorough study so as to avoid rejection in the later stages. On being satisfied with each term and condition, he must proceed to fill the application.
